Sorry for writing English but I am very tired during last time. If you upload images you may upload them to commons: so that other wiki projects can benefit from this. You may reference and include any image from commons:. I know that it is often difficult to find the right ones but categorization has improved there. You may verify in related articles in other languages what images they use. Often these are from commons and can be used here as well.

As Gangleri noted above you can use images from Wikimedia Commons, rather than uploading new images each time.
I deleted the graphics for different reasons. The Star of David is because this is a Wikipedia in Yiddish language, it is meant to be secular and not carry anybody's opinions. While Star of David is associated with Yiddish, Yiddish is also associated with a secular movement and there is also a minority of Yiddish speakers whose religion is different. The Star of david is also a national symbol of Medines Yisroyl, but Yiddish speakers live around the world -- Israel, New York, Russia... and finally, is there a benefit gained by adding it? I do not see a good reason that it *should* be there. It's fine on yidishkayt, but not on ershte zayt.
As for the images for each category, they make the mainpage more "graphics heavy" and it will take longer for it to load. It is just as easy to understand whether or not that image is there, since anyone who comes here can read Yiddish anyways,, so there's not a need for it. Images are nice in articles to illustrate things -- maps, flags, photographs... but on the main page, it can be a hassle, especially \if they aren't tiny icons but big images like you used. --Node ue

Hi Tzvi A, While niqqud are negligible in Hebrew, they are mandatory in Yiddish, and they should always be used.
The dictionary you cited says "פֿאַראײניקטע שטאַטן", "fareynikte shtatn", not "פארײניקטע שטאטן", which could also be "poraynikte shtotn", "paraynikte shtatn", "foraynikte shtotn", or any other combination.

Hello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.
You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on yiwiktionary, where you are an administrator and bureaucrat. Since yiwiktionary does not have its own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.

If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.
We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review.
